Sony has finally put in its new attachable lens camera series for Smartphones. Both new devices introduced while using series are DSC-QX100 and DSC-QX10. A camera that will assist iOS and Android Smartphones through the PlayMemories mobile application developed by Sony this can enable users to work the Lens-Style cameras using the Smartphone.
With regards to the features, the DSC-QX100 weighs about 179 grams and sports a 20.2 megapixel Exmor R CMOS sensor and an f/1.8 Carl Zeiss optics lens with 3.6X optical zooming.
The DSC-QX10 weighs 105 grams and sports an 18.2 megapixel Exmor R CMOS sensor with 10X zooming and an f/3.5-3.9 Sony G lens.
The Lens-Style cameras will be able to record 1080p full HD videos at 12 megapixels with 30fps in MP4 format and will even shoot in low light conditions. These include single-shot auto-focus and touch auto-focus systems. The QX100 will further support manual focus system.
These Smartphone camera enhancements will easily work with the Smartphone via either NFC or WI-Fi during a one-touch connection. The display of the phone will act as a viewfinder also it can also be used to click photos. The lens will also feature manual keys being a power button and have absolutely a battery indicator. It’ll feature a battery and support for microSD cards.
The Sony Cybershot QX100 is priced at $499.99 and the Sony Cybershot QX10 is priced at $249.99 ,pre-orders are available at Sony store and Amazon.
