The price is announced by Microsoft on Tuesday before the October 26, 2012 launched. Pre orders will be available from the Microsoft Surface Website.
There are different pricing announced for different specification of Surface Models, 32GB model will cost
$499 without Touch cover while after adding the Touch cover price will shoot for $599 and the 64GB model with Touch cover is priced at $699.
If you want to purchase Touch cover alone it will cost about $120 and will be available in different colors such as black, magenta, cyan, white and red.
From 26, October anyone interested from the United States and Canada can purchase from Microsoft Stores while People from other countries can purchase online regarding availability of product in their country.
