Follow the below steps carefully
- Tap on Settings on your iPhone 6
- Now scroll down and tap on Messages
- Tap on Keep messages, here you will see a tick mark checked for forever
- Now it’s upon you whether you want to keep messages for 1 year or 30 days
- Choose any one of them (30 days or I year)
- A pop up will open confirming deleting messages older than selecting duration
- Tap on Delete
This is it! Now your iPhone 6 will automatically delete messages which are older than selected duration. If in the future, you don’t want to delete any message, simply repeat the above process and choose never.
