Google Fiber Officially coming to Austin Texas in Mid-2014. Austin the capital of U.S. state of Texas is about to get Google Fiber. For those who don’t know about Google Fiber, according to the officials it is 100 times faster internet than an average broadband connection.

Before coming to Austin back in 2012, Google introduced their fiber structure on the Kansas City, Kan. and Kansas City, Mo. This city is now connected with the world faster internet. This region was build up with a new infrastructure from ground level to provide reliable and long lasting internet connection to its uses.

The Internet is in the early stages, human needs lots of years to improve in each and every department. People often desire for a high speed internet. It helps students and families in access valuable resources. It could be anything, from information about careers and healthcare to finance and learning services.

Google said on their official blog. “Communities that are connected to the Internet grow stronger because there’s greater potential to create jobs, drive economic growth, and help businesses succeed. We believe the Internet’s next chapter will be built on gigabit speeds, and we hope this new Google Fiber city will inspire communities across America to think about what ultrafast connectivity could mean for them.”

There were lots of rumors that Austin is likely to be the next city for Google Fiber, and later on the rumors were converted into reality. Thus, now it is confirmed that the people of Austin would soon enjoy the perks of Google Fiber.

According to the estimates, Google would start connecting the homes in Austin by the mid-2014. However, they have not revealed the cost and pricing as yet. People are assuming that the prices would be much similar to the Kansas City. Just like the first city, they will provide free 5 Mbps internet connection for 7 years only if the customer’s pays a one-time construction charges.
